It was one of the most affordable hotels for our budget for our short stay in Boston. The hotel itself is really clean and comfortable, decent shower, super friendly staff and a convenient breakfast included in our rates. I was worried about getting into the city from the Chelsea area, where the hotel is situated, as we wanted to avoid driving in due to the traffic. We ended up getting the free airport shuttle and stopping at the airport subway stop, this was free and quick to get to. It took about 30 minutes to get into the city on the train. We ended up getting taxis back as it was only 10-15 mins back.

Traveled with family to Boston to watch my brother and his wife run the Boston Marathon. Congratulations Jerry and Julie from Dallas, Oregon!!! We all had rooms at the Double Tree. The location is very close to public transportation, which was perfect. Getting to Boston was easy and convenient. However, the hotel is also located next to train tracks which run all through the night. Not convenient if you can't sleep through a locomotive. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. l want to give housekeeping 5 stars because they cleaned our room daily (upon request) and kept us stocked with clean linens. Check in and out were quick and easy. The front desk was able to check us in 3 hours early upon arrival which was awesome because we expected them to hold our luggage until the room was ready. Despite the train, we had a great stay! Don't forget to ask the front desk for your chocolate chip cookie each day! They are fabulous!!!

As you will have seen, hotels in Boston are frightfully expensive. So I went for the airport where they are slightly cheaper and because I had an early morning departure. Location of this one was good - a SL3 bus stops literally one minute from the hotel and gets you to South Station in about 20 minutes. The hotel runs a free shuttle to the airport departing every half hour from 5am and taking 10-20 minutes. Room was spacious and comfortable. Facilities good. Staff helpful if a little cold.

Location of hotel is great for airport especially for my one night stay. Allowed me to save time, convenient and with variery of transfer options. *Large comfy bed and breakfast was delicious too.* Thank you! Assistant manager Simone provided an excellent above and beyond service. I cannot thank Simone enough for resolving and rectifying a problem with transport. Hotel booked for an senior family member. Comments and reviews taken from them. I am delighted to hear that the description of hotel I booked, met their expectations.

The Hotel was very clean, modern and comfortable. Our room car very spacious, with huge a bathroom. We came in very late and the staff was attentive and nice. The cookies we got at check-in were a delight for tired travelers. The breakfast buffet had good variety and the staff there also very attentive and caring. We had time the day after to explore Boston and left our luggage at the hotel for checkout and then took an Uber downtown. Everything was so smooth and easy, and the ride from the hotel downtown took about 10-15 min. We then took the airport shuttle to the airport in the afternoon - all very happy and we will absolutely come back if we pass through Boston again.

Although it takes a bit of time, transportation to downtown wasn't too bad. Just take the silver line to the airport blue line, then a quick train ride to downtown. Not ideal, but much cheaper than staying in downtown. Amenities nearby (restaurants mainly) were somewhat lacking, but it's easy to have things delivered nowadays. Grocery stores nearby as well if you want to get some room snacks.

The property was very clean & offered a shuttle service from the airport which saved us a good amount on a ride share. the room was a nice size for the price and the bathroom was huge. The hotel room amenities were comfy & we had more than enough to cover our entire stay. There’s a small restaurant/bar. Food was great and server was great. Prices weren’t too bad. The location is about 15 mins from Boston.

Large bedroom, comfortable bed and good amenities. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help me print something. Swimming pool is a good temperature.
